Alpine-UT is a city that belongs to Utah County. So, the estimated population of Alpine is 10,477, being one of the most quickly growing cities of the state. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.4 square miles.
None of that area has water, although a number of small mountain streams run through the city on years with sufficient rainfall. Yet, the city received this name because its views are compared to the Swiss Alps.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 44.9% under the age of 18, 9.4% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 17.0% from 45 to 64, and 5.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
