The estimated population of Herriman-UT is 40,149 (United States Census Bureau – 2019), but this number can be higher now because of the quick development of Herriman’s area. The city was established in 1851. The City GIS department estimates that as of January 2019, Herriman City has 54,000 to 60,000 residents.
According to estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2017, there were 39,224 people in Herriman. The racial makeup of the county was 83.3% non-Hispanic White, 2.2% Black, 0.8% Asian, 1.6% Pacific Islander, and 4.4% from two or more races. 8.0% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
